This Privacy Policy explains how Strauss Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, doing business as TechGuru Academy ("TechGuru," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit techguruacademy.com, use our training programs, labs, communities, newsletters, or any related services (collectively, the "Services"), or otherwise interact with us. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. For the purposes of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and the UK GDPR, Strauss Holdings LLC is the data controller of your personal data. For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), Strauss Holdings LLC is the business that determines the purposes and means of processing your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information: Information you provide directly. When you submit a contact form, request a training proposal, subscribe to a newsletter, register for a webinar, download materials, create an account, or contact us, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, country, company name, job title, professional role, technical background, training interests, and any other information you choose to provide. Corporate and B2B contact information. When your employer engages us for training services, we collect information about the individuals designated for training (participant name, employee identifier if provided, professional profile, prior certifications, training history, attendance records, exam and lab results) and about the corporate contacts managing the engagement (purchaser, approver, technical lead). Payment and billing information. Where applicable, our third-party payment processors and finance systems collect and process payment and invoicing details, including billing address, tax identification, and transaction data. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, time spent on pages, clickstream data, approximate geographic location derived from your IP address, and date/time stamps. Information from third parties. We may receive information from vendor partners, our clients (your employer), social media platforms, professional networks, analytics providers, and referral sources. User content. If you participate in a community, forum, lab environment, or comment section, we collect the content you submit and metadata associated with it. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data as defined under applicable law, and we ask that you do not provide it.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: (a) provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services, including delivering training programs, labs, and communities; (b) manage enrollments, attendance, progress, exam results, and certification preparation; (c) process transactions, issue invoices, and manage subscriptions and Commercial Agreements; (d) create and manage accounts and authenticate your access; (e) communicate with you about the Services, respond to inquiries, and provide customer support; (f) coordinate with the corporate client that engaged us on your behalf, including sharing attendance, progress, and results; (g) coordinate with vendor partners for authorized programs, including sharing information required for program enrollment, exam registration, and certification tracking; (h) send you educational content, newsletters, product updates, marketing communications, and promotional offers (you may opt out at any time); (i) personalize your experience and recommend relevant training; (j) analyze usage patterns, measure performance, and conduct research to improve the Services; (k) prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and protect the security and integrity of the Services; (l) comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract when we deliver the Services you have engaged; (b) our legitimate interests in operating, protecting, and improving the Services, provided such interests are not overridden by your rights; (c) your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (for example, for marketing communications and non-essential cookies); and (d) compliance with our legal obligations.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as described below: Service providers. We share information with third parties that provide services on our behalf, including hosting providers, payment processors, email and CRM providers, learning management systems, analytics providers, customer support platforms, community and course-hosting platforms, and marketing platforms. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify. Vendor partners. Where you participate in an authorized program from a vendor partner (including Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, Klabs, and others), we share the information required for program enrollment, exam registration, certification tracking, and compliance with the vendor's partner program. This is a condition of accessing vendor-branded training and certifications. Corporate clients. Where your employer or another organization has engaged us to provide training that includes you, we share attendance, progress, exam results, lab results, and completion status with that client. This is a standard part of B2B training delivery. Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard confidentiality arrangements. Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request. With your consent. We may share your information for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time we collect it, with your consent. Aggregated or de-identified data. We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you. Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not "sell" personal information for monetary consideration. We may "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes only if we have implemented such advertising and you have not opted out. You may opt out at any time as described in Section 11.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

We are based in the United States and process information in the United States and in other countries where our service providers and vendor partners operate. If you are located outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and potentially elsewhere, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required by applicable law (including for transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. As stated in Section 5, we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Authorized agents. 12. Children's Privacy
The Services are directed to adults and to organizations engaging training on behalf of their employees. Individuals under the age of sixteen (16) may not use the Services. Between sixteen (16) and eighteen (18), participation requires documented parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under sixteen. 13. Automated Decision-Making
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on our website and update the "Last updated" date. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Services before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
